Data protection statement
Thank you for your interest in our website. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please find below a detailed account of how we handle your data.

Storage of access data in server log files
You are able to visit our website without providing any personal details. We merely store access data in so called server log files. These contain for example the name of the requested file, the date and time of access, the amount of data transmitted, and the requesting provider. This information is analysed merely to ensure smooth operation of the page and to improve our services. It cannot be used to draw any conclusions about you personally.

Data collection and use for handling orders and when opening a customer account
We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in the course of your order, or when you contact us (e. g. using the contact form or via email), or when you open a customer account. The respective data collected is stated in the corresponding input forms. We use the data you provide for handling your contracts and queries. After a contract has been fully processed, or after you have deleted your customer account, your data will be blocked for further use. It is deleted after expiry of any retention periods under tax or commercial law, unless you have explicitly agreed to further use of your data, or unless we reserve the right to further use of the data in a manner that is legally permitted, and about which we will inform you below. Your customer account can be deleted at any time, either by sending a message using the contact details indicated below, or via a corresponding function provided within the customer account.

Disclosure of data for the purpose of fulfilling a contract
For fulfilling a contract, we will disclose your data to the shipping company instructed to handle transport, provided that this is necessary for delivering ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider you select during the ordering process, we will disclose the payment data collected for this purpose to the banking institute instructed to handle payment, and possibly also to the payment service provider we have instructed or to the selected payment service. Some of the selected payment service providers collect this data themselves, if you create an account with them. In this case you will have to use your access data to log into your account with the payment service provider, during the ordering process. The data protection statements of the respective payment service providers apply accordingly.

Use of data when registering for the email newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we will use the required details or those you have provided to us separately for sending our email newsletter to you on a regular basis, based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time, either by sending a message using the contact option indicated below, or via the corresponding link within the newsletter.

Use of cookies

Only in exceptional cases, will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server located in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address that is transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics, is not combined with any other Google data.

Using social plugins for Facebook, Twitter via the Shariff solution
We use social plugins (“plugins”) of social media networks on our website. In order to increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, these plugins are not fully integrated into our page, but merely via an HTML link (so called “Shariff solution” by c‘t). This form of embedding ensures that when you access a page of our online services that contains such plugins, no contact is established with the servers of the provider of the respective network. If you click one of the buttons, a new browser window will open to access the page of the corresponding service provider, where you can for example click the like or share button (you may need to enter your login details to do so). Please refer to the data protection information provided by these providers, for information about the purpose and scope of data collected, as well as the further processing and use of such data by the providers on their pages, and your related rights and settings options for protecting your privacy.
